چکیده
Stretch blow moulding (SBM) has been employed to manufacture bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS) from poly (l-lactic acid) (PLLA), whilst an experience-based method is used develop the suitable processing conditions by trial-and-error. FEA modelling can be predict forming process scientific understanding on mechanical behaviour of PLLA materials above glass transition temperature (Tg). The applicability a constitutive model, ‘glass-rubber’ (GR) model with material parameters biaxial stretch was examined sheets replicating strain history tubes during moulding. different stress–strain relationship and under equivalent deformation suggested need re-calibration GR for tubes. A developed operation conditions, incorporating virtual cap rod capture suppression axial stretch. reliability tube blowing validated comparing shape evolution, results free test.

Preparation and characterization of microporous poly(d,l-lactic acid) film for tissue engineering scaffold
We prepared a series of microporous films based on poly(d,l-lactic acid) (PLA) via phase separation. According to scanning electron microscopy (SEM), a 3-dimensional foamy structure with multimicrometer scale pores on the air surface of film could be observed. As the morphology of PLA film could not be stabilized using solvent-nonsolvent phase separation, we investigated the effect of temperatu...

Poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) is the structural material of the first clinically approved bioresorbable vascular scaffold (BVS), a promising alternative to permanent metal stents for treatment of coronary heart disease. BVSs are transient implants that support the occluded artery for 6 mo and are completely resorbed in 2 y. Clinical trials of BVSs report restoration of arterial vasomotion and eliminat...
متن کاملThe effects of poly L-lactic acid nanofiber scaffold on mouse spermatogonial stem cell culture
INTRODUCTION A 3D-nanofiber scaffold acts in a similar way to the extracellular matrix (ECM)/basement membrane that enhances the proliferation and self-renewal of stem cells. The goal of the present study was to investigate the effects of a poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) nanofiber scaffold on frozen-thawed neonate mouse spermatogonial stem cells (SSCs) and testis tissues. METHODS The isolated sper...

To determine the optimal ratio of nano-hydroxyapatite (n-HA) to polylactic acid (PLLA) in the novel three-dimensional porous PLLA/n-HA composite scaffolds, low-temperature rapid prototyping technology was employed to fabricate the composite materials with different n-HA contents. Mechanical properties and degradation behaviors of the composites were examined, and the scaffold microstructure and...
